The new Wilco Album Sky Blue Sky is fantastic. I've only been into these guys for a few years mostly because my ear wasn't developed enough for their earlier stuff... wasn't into the twang rock. Now I love it. But what pulled me in was their Ghost is Born album and their live show. The live experience for me is the most powerful and these guys are great to see. They jam out the tunes and the band is friggin amazing. The new album is almost all good tunes but here is one favorite - Hate it Here. I heard it at Austin City Limits and was hooked. (Didn't have the album at the time.) It's got a Beatles feel to it which I really like. Take a listen...

How do you get dermahrk to listen to ANY post? Call it Beatlesque! Yeah, that middle section does have a bit of the Abbey Road feel, with the bass and guitars all playing the same line. Nice.

You should check out the album. It's on my mog page as a playlist at the top. Many beatles-sounding tunes. I guess they did write the book on rock and pop songs.
