Also, if I recall correctly someone told me they thought they heard some of Arc in there. I'm not as familiar with that song.

I was onstage for this!! Only 17 at the time and getting wasted with Willie Nelson's niece on vodka. (Nelson obviously played). If you watch the earlier stuff there are a bunch of people standing beneath the hanging backdrop all the way to the left (facing the stage)...that's where I was. Phish played Runaway Jim during their set and I remember looking into the audience and seeing my pals in the front row. It was the second show I ever got backstage/onstage for and I truly believe being that close to this is what morphed me into the massive music fan I am today. thank you so much for posting....takes me back !!! I read your post while walking to work this morning....This was another one of those large musical moments for me in which worlds collided. "Down By The River" is my Dad's all time favorite tune...and to see Phish and Neil on stage taking it to a far away place was a dream come true!! (While I was thinking these thoughts strolling through Bryant Park at 42nd Street this morning, what tune shows up on my ipod shuffle??...yup...."Down By The River"......I had to pull it out of my pocket and view the screen to make sure I was not tripping.)

Just viewed the video clip.....wow....no need for coffee this Monday morning. My heart is racing.
