WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Dylan

Posted about 1 year ago
Bob Dylan is one of my favorite artists and in this case he truly changed someone's life. My wife and I were listening to this tune when we decided to name our son Dylan. Not sure why exactly and hopefully the song theme isn't some kind of prediction. Baby Let Me Follow You Down. This one was from his Biograph box set. Take a listen.

  3. deadmandeadman says I bought this cd on the day it was released. I had such high hopes. My hopes were not dashed, but they certainly got bruised up a bit. I have percolated my feelings all this time, and still the ambivalence remains. To say there's not a bad track on it is a given. But one cannot say that any of them are an improvement on the Master's work. Quite a lot of the performances are rather pedestrian carbon copies. **Nothing** stood out enough to lodge itself in the memory banks. But as I said, it isn't really that bad or good, in my mind, it just is. I haven't seen the movie.

  4. Wanbli says I would never compare them to originals, but in context of how they served the film- having seen it before buying the CD - I was sold as soon as I saw and heard Ritchie Havens doing the Tombstone Blues.
