My head is pounding this morning. Nope, it's not because I partied like a rockstar at the VAST concert. Nope, it's because the city of Overland decided that they needed to tear up the street by my apartment at 7:43am. It's because I went to the shittiest venue in St. Louis last night....The Creepy Crawl.I always wondered why I got a headache at The Creepy Crawl but never any other venue. Now I know why. Their PA shit (which was confirmed by various bands). You can hear a low hum coming from the speakers. Niiiice.Then during VAST's set (and during songs that I really like) fucking people were talking....LOUDLY. I could hear conversations, and I was standing up front. People were not showing any respect for VAST at all. I felt awful for VAST, and at the same time wanted to beat ass or scream or something. If people wanted to talk, they should have gone somewhere else or fucking gone outside. You could also tell Jon Crosby was annoyed by everything too.I plan on going to MySpace or emailing the band to apologize for the rude people of St. Louis. I have a feeling this is the last time VAST will play St. Louis.You'll have to read the actual review of the VAST show at Taxi Magazine. It will be posted in a day or two. Seriously, if the Creepy Crawl burned down, I would be happy.
