We had an amazing time travelling to Chicago and back.. Performing at Lollapalooza was awesome!!!
Here's a quick recap of our drive to chicago..
Driving through small towns, ford e-350 van break downs (darn Catalytic Converter melt down, missing a performance in Salt Lake City because we arrived too late) meeting super nice people after a break down,(Richard from Wells,Nevada- Thanks so much for showing us a hidden lake on mountain top) performing at gallery in Kansas City, (Dave and Zac Thanks so much for setting this up!!) watching middle american office workers in office garb , singing Eminem at a karaoke bar, with all the dance and hand movements, (she was awesome!!) the food was excellent (Burger and BBQ in KC) performing on a gigantic 50x50 stage in open air, hanging out back stage, watching explosions in the sky from the stage, bumming a smoke from chan of cat power, and both of us meandering in the artist lounge for a light, she was super nice.. Tire blowout on the ride home.. Launching bottle rockets from the side of the i80 while we wait for AAA to help us..
