Fellow MOGger, Joxley, composed a great post about which artists that we thought deserved a slap. Well, aside from the artists, there are people that need to be slapped, whom of which are not popular. Since violence is not the answer to problems, I will give this person a *MOG slap*, instead. Someone made a really dumb comment on Joxley's post that I feel is necessary to address.First off, *read what other people typed* before you "attack". Secondly, *it does* matter if an artist is a "child molester". I don't care what great feats they have accomplished over the years. Thirdly, carefully read what you have typed before you post it. You don't want to emabarrass yourself with poor grammer/spelling.*YOU HAVE BEEN MOG SLAPPED*One other thing, if you think it's okay for a child to be molested, then you need to seek professional help.

CrashPryor says here, here mah man...lying in wait to throw up snarky comments and off-color remarks is just wrong...and child molestation jokes are just way off the charts wrong...if you're a baby with a beard and need to do such things, here's a quarter; go buy yourself a life...

slantera says Glad to see someone sharing my point of view. Btw, I was trying to post a comment on that video that you had posted some time ago of Johnny Cash doing his version of, Hurt. I ran into some sort of problem where I couldn't post anything, but just to let you know, it really is a great version.

AnonymousAmy says i'm with ya slantera. i just went and read the post, and the comment that was made.......that person farted out of their mouth. But, I could be biased since I have 2 daughters. molestation = sooo not okay. that comment is a huge reason why i don't post much on here.

slantera says I wouldn't say biased, more like it just makes sense. The crap that was typed on Joxley's post was just plain ignorance. I think that person was either drunk, too young to comprehend or just plain nuts. Nobody, in their right mind, would ever say such a thing, nobody. Granted I don't see you here often, you still make this place feel "whole" again. MOG was empty for a moment. I left Myspace because of the weirdness so I can definitely understand where you're coming from. I joined Multiply, recently, hopefully I can keep normal people around me. :-)

blueone51 says slantera, thanks for saying what needed to be said. I saw Jox’s post early on and did not see that particular comment until you redirected me to it. MJ forfeited any credibility, respect or acceptance long ago and anyone who defends him needs to be called out. I haven’t given up on MOG yet. It’s like any community and we have our impaired, the loosely-wrapped and the flat-out ignorant. I rarely go to the MOS anymore and rely on those I trust. I’m just hoping this is all part of the growing pains and we can eventually sort out into subgroups of more like-minded people. Cheers.

slantera says Here here! I can be a very outspoken kind of person. I'm in no way perfect, but I have common sense and comments like that hit close to home. I know a lot about this kind of crap and it's very sad. I agree we have some rotten apples admist the masses, here, though, I feel more comfortable here than on Myspace or Livejournal. People, like yourself and others, seem to show much more intelligence than on Myspace, for sure. With that said, it is only on very rare occasion that we have stupidity of this magnitude show itself on this site. ....and no, thank you. Cheers!

Jess Horrible says that comment, by the way, was directed to jesscab. i wrote it too fast. but now that i think about it, fighting on the internet is boring. they just keep coming BACK, no matter how many of them you slay.
