Eyes of the insane

I just saw the video for, 'Eyes of the insane', by Slayer. Mind blowing/disturbing. The video made me remember something that a friend of mine mentioned to me. He had a friend that is/was in the military. He was in there for so long, he could not adapt to 'normal' civilian life. He became very "weird", I'm not really sure how, because it was mentioned to me such a long time ago. This may also explain part of my uncle's behavior. Not to get off the topic of the video, though, it does have a message in it, none-the-less. It is from a perspective that I cannot comprehend, unless, I were to walk a mile in the military folks shoes. People, at times, cannot adapt to a 'normal' way of life after enduring the trauma they have, particularly in times of warfare. It is unfortunate and no human being should go through what they do.     slantera says I agree. I strongly believe that the american public is sucked into the crap our leaders throw in our faces. I, for one, am not easily pursuaded by everything. I think the saddest part is that nobody ever knows the whole truth behind every agenda. The same can be said for our 'enemies'.

    sage1979 says I'm just gonna nod my head in agreement and say "good song" otherwise I'll end up going off on some tirade ;) The video was pretty cool, but I got the heebie jeebies when they have the ...uh.. clamp thingies (damn it's too early in the morning) by the eye.. lol I"m a wuss when it comes to eyeballs. :P
