When I first heard this band, it was in the movie, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Chris Barnes was the lead singer, at the time and there was a guitarist that was replaced, as well. I wanted to use the band name for myself, though, I found out it was a real band. I thought it was cool, so I had to check out their material. Didn't know anything like this existed....I thought the movie industry was mocking metal. I read somewhere that, Jim Carey, actually requested to have this band perform in the movie because he liked them. Not sure how true that is, thoughOur government needs to find other things to do with their lives besides hounding a death metal band for their lyrical content or what's on the cover.
