Best soundtrack of the '90's

I'm going to say the best soundtrack of the '90's is, The Crow. Hands down, awesome. Great selection of alternative rock and metal. What do you folks think?

  1. Anna says It's hard to pick one...I'll stick to that kind of music and propose Spawn's ost (but I can change my mind in like 5 secs).

  2. ExBeliever424 says This is a tough question. The Crow has a great soundtrack. But I'm going to have to go with the Judgement Night soundtrack. Horrible flick, but great fusion of hardcore rock and rap on the soundtrack. If you don't own it, go get it!

  3. slantera says Wow...nice picks, Ex and Anna! I was actually thinking the Judgement Night soundtrack, originally, though.

  4. ExBeliever424 says The Judgement Night sountrack, to me, is monumental! Where else are you going to hear collaborations like Helmet/House of Pain, Sonic Youth/Cypress Hill, Biohazard/Onyx??? This album is definitely in my top 20 of all time. Love it, love it, love it!!!

  5. Anna says Yeah, precious collaborations made me suggest Spawn too :)

  6. slantera says You ladies, rock!!! Ex, almost has me convinced to change my mind, though.....*LOL*......I'm not going to, either.

  7. Dale says Hmm, Spawn and Crow, both excellent soundtracks, but my fave is from a movie I'll never see, Nowhere. I stumbled upon it at a used CD store, and bought it because it had Radiohead and Lush on it. Terrible movie, fantastic soundtrack.

  8. Anonymous says I liked the Singles soundtrack.

  9. lemontwist says Yeah, I have to go with Singles. I also really really love the Great Expectations soundtrack. I actually may like it more than Singles. But Singles brought together my favorite bands, all on one convenient piece of plastic. Plus Singles the movie >> Great Expectations the movie.

  11. 82times says I miss how much I used to _love_ listening to Helmet albums. No one has ever used dropped-D rock as effectively. I didn't watch movies in the 90's, really.

  12. slantera says Wow, I like what I am reading here. I got into Biohazard from listening to the Demon Knight soundtrack. Beaten is such an awesome song.

  13. tybees says The Lost Highway soundtrack for me. Yeah the movie was totally weird and didn't make sense but man, it creeped me out in a good way. I think the music is what did it. NIN "The Perfect Drug" and Smashing Pumpkins "Eye". Thats my shit!

  14. Bawston Sean says The 'Heavy' soundtrack, probably because I'm on a Lemonheads bender, but Thurston Moore does some ambient stuff that kicks a lot of ass...wait, never mind. The 'Pump Up the Volume' soundtrack is definitely a defining moment in my musical life.

  15. wassonii says Naked Lunch Soundtrack. The teaming up of Howard Shore and Ornette Coleman was brilliant.
