Milosh - Meme

Posted almost 6 years ago
Is it a display of what is important? A realization to take stock in one’s character? A release of emotion to help bring on a new day of change? Whatever the reason, it is clear on Meme that Milosh has turned a new corner and is moving on from the past. His debut, You Make Me Feel, created an immediate image of his personal life. It is an incredible journey that is often left off of most electronic releases. He is exposed on this first recording and it is clear, sometimes painfully, that Milosh was surrounded and occupied with the love for someone during its creation. But, his skill with writing excellently composed electronic music allowed the record to not be over shadowed by the powerful lyrical content. It is a perfect blend; a good martini of sorts.Meme is a new cocktail blend of the original music of his first release. Milosh has once again created the endless sound waves that flow from his lyrics, sometimes making it impossible to decipher the origin of the sound. Songs like “Couldn’t Sleep”, “You Fill Me”, and “The City” immediately sound like those missing tracks from his debut release. However, if one takes the time to listen to this album in its entirety, it will become clear that Milosh has something new to say. There is an experimentation here that is sometimes raw but never stretches the boundaries of his style. It is a recreation of himself after the death of a relationship. One can only hope that Milosh can continue down this revealing path of self-expression music.cd
