creative encourager

According to a personality test that my roommate said I should do, I am a creative encourager. All I know, is that I am driven by my heart. I am a hopeless romantic and i love to think abstractly. I like to sit and thank of big, abstract, deep ideas. And I love music that gives me that abstract, deep feeling. One song would be "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. Another would be "To Build a Home" by C

Music is a big part of my life. And I'm always connecting it to things in my life. What kind of music does fall match up with? what music does winter match up with? what music does doing laundry match with? what music does writing a paper match with? what music does sleeping go with? what music does drinking coffee go with? That's what I'm thinking about right now. Coffee. What song is your favo...

Bits of Fall

So I know I haven't posted here in a long time, but today I was walking around campus--of course seeing the people who are really into Halloween all dressed up--and loving the beautiful weather we have right now. I was listening to my feet shuffle through the leaves, drinking my pumpkin spice coffee, and started to think about how much I love fall. It really is my favorite season. After thinkin...

This is a good song....I heard a voice through the discordA deluge of passersbyI saw one gaze frozen in timeWatching me passing byI swear I'll know your face in the crowdAnd I'll hear your voice so loudWhen you're whisperingHey unfaithful I will teach youTo be strongerHey ungraceful I will teach youTo forgive one anotherHere's my kiss to betrayDesperate to brush the lips of graceDo you feel hollow

the music you listen to

I have noticed many times in my life, the people who feel like they have to bash other people's music. They sit there and criticize the people because of the type of music they listen to. A person who listens to metal must be a badass, a person who listen to indie music is stuck up, and a person who listens to punk is well a punk. Those are stereotypes that people have. In our generation, music ha

Addicted..or what?

So...I've only been on MOG for about 3 hours now. And these 3 hours have been spent being on here. I'm kinda afraid for how this will affect my study habits. I do have this feeling though that it will be much like how facebook was when I first joined. I'll be addicted for a week or so...then still check it and use it, but I won't be on it for hours at a time.Today has consisted of me in my room. I

Beautiful performance

this picture is from the death cab concert i went to this past weekend in PA. It's of my two friends who are dating and absolutely love death cab as much as i do. The concert was amazing! I honestly have never seen a more beautiful performance than "transatlanticism" and "what sarah said" They both were breath-taking. I got teary eyed during transatlanticism--just because it was so beautiful. T...
