WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Bits of Fall

Posted over 2 years ago
So I know I haven't posted here in a long time, but today I was walking around campus--of course seeing the people who are really into Halloween all dressed up--and loving the beautiful weather we have right now. I was listening to my feet shuffle through the leaves, drinking my pumpkin spice coffee, and started to think about how much I love fall. It really is my favorite season. After thinking about how much I love fall, I thought about the kind of music that goes with it. Have you ever noticed that fall can be placed with really mellow, pretty music and then with happy, make-you-want-to-dance music? At least I think that. I love it. I mean I go from listening to "Here It Goes" by Jimmy Eat World to "Pills" By the Perrishers. I love how diverse fall is. Not only are the colors of the trees diverse and so vibrant, the music is as well. You can go outside and be comfortable or stay inside and be just as comfortable. You can wear a cardigan or wear a t-shirt. Flip flops or close-toed shoes. Coffee or Cider. Hair-up or Hair down. I really love Fall.

  1. brittanybf says What about "rock or roll"? If someone made their perfect fall playlist, I'm betting it'd be the most diverse of all, compared to a season like summer which would be all hot, sticky songs! Fall's where it's at.
