Spin cycle songs

Posted over 5 years ago
I tend to wear songs out quickly on repeat. After 10000 laundry spin cycles, sweaters sprout unwanted fuzzies. Whereas, after 10000 music spin cycles, brains do exactly the same (figuratively). Some recent favorites on repeat:Cut Copy- Going NowhereHuman Television- InconsistentRyan Adams- World War 24Umbrellas- CrookedAstaire- LlloveIron and Wine- JezebelCordova- The Radio Has Got No SoulMickey Avalon- So Rich So PrettyMuse- Map of the ProblematiqueHard Fi- Hard To BeatCanyon- Ten Good EyesAppleseed Cast- CeremonyTime to iron and fold my brains. Ouch!

  1. Peggah says I've been doing this, too. After the 100th listen, I really start noticing weird noises. And I wonder if that's my brain's way of telling me to listen to something else! I'm currently rotating: Anti Anti - Snowden Young Bride - Midlake Operator - Jim Croce Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt 1 - Flaming Lips Jesus, etc. - Wilco Shine a Light - Wolf Parade It's pretty pathetic, because only two of them are new songs. :/ PS. Astaire is now Blondefire! Lame name change. :(

  2. sixten says Snowden is great. I haven't heard your other repeaters yet. And Peggah, new isn't always better. Rocks, for instance, are ancient. And some people still play with them. That's not pathetic (leaves room)
