Joan Jett is a rock goddess
-
Artist:Joan Jett
Miss Jett has been an inspiration to all female musicians that have followed (I should know, she will always influence Sick of Sarah's sound), and her career is more than impressive. Her songs will live forever, and not every girl with a guitar can create the same legacy.

true that. joan jett is nothin to mess with.
I have been a Joan fan since her Runaways days. Her new record label, Blackheart Records, has some great bands, like the Dollyrots, who I find phenomenal!
Blackheart records huh? I'll have to check out their roster.
Got a CD of old Runaways on the way, so be on the watch out for some of that soon.
Currently I have the best of Joan Jett in my cars CD player.... good stuff, and her stuff always reminds me to to pull records by: Suzi Quatro, The Pleasure Seekers, The Runaways and Jonathan Richman
well hot diggity -> sick of sarah -> where in the hell did you get a name like that -> did I date you at one point? just curious, all my girlfriends hated my friend Sarah, just crazy that my first day back at mog I see you added me as a friend...along with 300 other blokes, but still a co-inky-dink ->
anyhoo, Joan Jett, it's been a minute since I could justify listening to that, but to each his own

Joan started up Blackheart Records wayway back i'm pretty sure that Album, the album that got her stuff banned from WalMart was on Blackheart. In those days it was a captive label of a larger company, and i think all she released on it in those days was her own stuff, but...
WARNING!!! The following track is Not Safe For Work. WARNING!!!
(or anywhere else where people with a low tolerance for the big bad "F"-word might hear it.)
You Have Been Warned
This was an unlisted bonus track on the cassette version of Album; it wasn't unusual for cassettes to have slightly different running order than LPs, or to include an extra track on one side, in order to make the sides come out more or less even. Apparently lots of Mommies bought the cassette for their fourteen-year-old daughters, all unaware.
And, is i said, WalMart dropped all Joan Jett product over it.
Many of her songs will live quite a while, but your recording of "Hello Good Morning" will be immortal.
