Grace, save your money for the children

Posted over 2 years ago
When you need a babysitter on Millpark Ave. you call Grace. The parents all say the same things: "She's great" and "What's not to like?" But is she great? The problem with Grace is that she's selfish. You know the type. The babysitter who locks the kids in their rooms so she can jump on the couch and play rock and roll. These kids need their dinner but Grace always spends their parents money and sends them off to bed hungry, practically famished.
Grace doesn't know it but these kids are fed up. Not just the Wilson boys either, no the whole street. It all started about a month ago. One child, no one remembers who, saw the film Network and then the movie began circulating. Soon children were opening bedroom windows shouting, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" At the tree house the plans were meticulously crafted with crayola, every detail accounted for. Tonight was the night they decided on, right after the Muppets special. At 9:25 things were sent into motion. The children of Millpark Ave. shimmied out of their bedroom windows with the agility of ninjas and launched their three tiered attack. All those weeks of preparation paid off and it was far too late before Grace realized that she'd finally bitten off more than she could chew.
Baffled, the police questioned the children, organizing them from toddler to tot to tyke. "She should have saved some damn money," said one of the littler ones, fighting back his little tears. The plump Mason boy, leader of the group(after the coup that is), wasn't as kind, "That bitch! I gotta watch my mother fucking blood sugar - got any candy?" The setting was a tense one to be sure. Thankfully for Grace, an ambulance arrived just in the nick of time to whisk her away. From her stretcher she could hear the sound of the children's applause fade as the sirens turned on. "So what do you think Sarge?" Sargent Reno shook his head, remembering the babysitter massacre of '92, "She should have saved some damn money Pete, she really should have."
