Ok I'm beginning to get a bit restless. They pulled this shit back in '04 when they supposedly had a new album coming out; NOW it's '07 and still no new album. Oh yeah and the same damn message has been on their website for about a year: " They are currently recording a new record to be released in 2007." Well forgive me for being a little skeptical but these guys are obviously atrocious at keeping time.
Of course the band I'm speaking of is the Circulatory System; the brainchild, mostly at least, of former Olivia Tremor Control-er Will Cullen Hart. Their first self titled album successfully married the discordant elements of Olivia Tremor Control(sound collages) with their pop songs; something that was always mildly frustrating with O.T.C., 1 song then a sound collage - repeat Ad nauseam(well, not quite). Maybe if all the fans of psychedelia pray to Syd Barrett (don't laugh it could work) then we just might see a Circulatory System release this year. Although, we already got Roky back(http://www.rokyerickson.net/tour.php) so we're probably screwed.
