my heart will ever belong to the libertines, and i definitely have a fondness for the other half, as in mr. doherty. but, i do enjoy dirty pretty things - and seeing them live during their first album tour was amazing - especially since front man barât had a broken collar bone and still played guitar for a few songs, removing his union jack sling and taking up his acoustic. i will miss them now that they have officially broken up - and am sad that their label did not promote 'romance at short notice' the way they did 'waterloo to anywhere'.
of course, part of me is hoping that this may lead to a someday reunion of barât and doherty (who this song is rumored to have been written for/about).

I keep dreaming for the moment that Death From Above 1979 will decide to reunite. I also remember me wishing that Garbage would call it a day (during their awful last 2 albums) and it became so ;)

I can not tell you how much I enjoyed this album today. It was the soundtrack both to and from work.......I hope you dont mind
