I finally got a chance to catch my new favorite band, Kunek, live at VZD's Friday night. They packed the place and no one left disappointed (except for the smelly guy). Their live set was as close to sounding like their album as possible. Every change, every rhythm was spot on. The experience just completed what I started when I purchased the album. It's no wonder they were chosen indie-best for 2006 by iTunes and are one of John Mayer's favorite bands. If they come to a town near you, definitely go see them. www.myspace.com/kunekwww.kunek.net
