I've been nursing this album for the last couple of days and boy... good stuff. MF Doom is one of those artists that I kept telling myself I'd get around to, and I'm _extremely_ glad I finally did. I haven't had an album like this in some time, something so refreshing and original, right from the first track it's gold to me. There are a few strange interludes that drag on a bit, but I accept that as a part of Doom's style. The album came out in 2004, and yeah I heard about it, but I completely missed listening to it. I actually downloaded one of his more recent works Occult Hymn (2006) for free on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim website a while back. I think it was some kind of promotional deal because most of the music made references to Cartoon Network characters. It was decent, but this _Mm.. Food_ really did it for me. Hopefully I can get my hands on more of his work that is this good. 
Oh yeah, Mm.. Food is an anagram, and realizing that made this album all the more fie.
