It's been almost a year since I last posted. I remember the old days of MOG when there was one feed with all the posts... It was cool. Now it seems so big and unfamiliar, I guess I grew away from the community. But I miss the old community.
In any case, I heard this song the other day by a new artist, Raheem DeVaughn called Love Drug. I just felt like this song had to be sampled from somewhere, the beat doesn't sound like it's from this decade. What do you all think?

i know things look unfamiliar on MOG these days, but it's actually very similar to the old days under the hood. a handful of the core community has moved into a non-mogging phase (like you did) while many of the same peeps are here daily. A few longtime moggers have new screenames though, so that doesn't help. AND - there is still one single page for the mog-O-sphere, it just isn't called that anymore. Just click on the link at the top of almost any page - Posts, News & Reviews - and it should take you to all the posts in chronological order. Of course, you now have more options for filtering posts. Trust me, from someone who has been interacting on this site for over a year now, the community is still small enuff that nearly everybody knows each other. I have really missed your posts! i understand if you don't mog much anymore, but i hope you stop by once in a while - like you did today!

as for that track, i don't recognize the instrumental, but man is that smooth! like it's from an Al Green album or sumtin. Very enjoyable, thanks for posting it! i've only heard a few DeVaughn songs, but i really dig what i've heard.

Is this chap the son of William De Vaughn, of "Be Thankful for What you've Got" fame? Certainly sounds a lot like him

It's almost as if I have been away from the world these past few months. But I have a new computer, and I'm back to writin' stuff in my mog and checkin out new music.

I have no computer, and I can't say when I'll get a new one, but I'll give as much attention to my mog as I can in the coming months.

All hail Airtran. Many east-coast/southeast college students are probably familiar with the airline's dirt cheap flights. I flew non-stop Atlanta to Seattle for $98. It was a 5 hour flight, and I didn't bring any books, so I was extremely happy to find out about the complementary XM radio.

While I was listening I heard this song, Little Green Apples. It reminded me of the pleasant feeling of being in love.
