Under Byen

Update: I attached the wrong song... Oops. This song is much better than the one I attached... And is actually what the post is about...Sometimes you see things that make you begin to wonder what the world is coming to... I found the band Under Byen today, and I was enjoying their sound: it was fresh for once, with an interesting mix of sultry vocals and electronic somewhat funky sound.Since the one thing you can rely on finding for any given page is a gaudy myspace page, I did a quick search and located them (worth visiting... they have almost an album worth of material in their player!):http://www.myspace.com/underbyenWhat I found most depressing was that the band felt the need to label themselves "experimental". I am sure this is an intentional branding move on their part, but the sad reality is that any band with anything fresh these days seems to be claiming to be experimental. How dare anyone innovate! Thats "experimentation". Anyways, without further ado, my "experimental" find of the day, straight from Denmark.
