Lotta early Santana in this cut, which is about as far from a bad thing as you can get. These guys put out some terrific music in their heyday (although I also used to have, and fortunately lost, a vinyl 12" featuring their lamentable version of "Woolly Bully." Yes, that's how bad it got.)

whoa, this is stanky!!! awesome. damn, I'm sorry I missed such a good funky friday, work got crazy and I could have used some of this stankiness in my office that is for sure. but my boss kept calling me up and I kept having to turn the music off. Oh yeah, and there was all that work that kept getting in the way. What suckage.
However, listening to this on a Saturday makes up for it. It also makes it hard to get my butt in gear and read rhetorical analysis literature, too, I'm afraid.
Oh, funk it.
