Art for Art's Sake (exhibition edition)

Posted almost 2 years ago

The guilt is catchin' up to me....here...here's some freebies from my mind (not the music, thank goodness!) a right click and "open in a new window" will allow you the most detailed of views, without audio interruption...

As you tour the gallery today, remember to stay behind the cordoned ropes. We would not want the powerful and highly sensitive lasers to disintegrate any more of you touristy types.

lipstick vogue (1980 colored pencil and marker)

hairnet starfiled (darkroom exposure experiment 1977)

"The Seductress" (comic prototype 1981)

Lake Michigan Lighthouse (acrylic on canvas 1981)

adoption complete (oil on canvas 1985)

Grandpa's (acrylic on canvas 1986)

Ulraviolet world (photoshop manipulation 2010)

Tree of Life

Thank you for joining us today for the retrospective. Free vanilla wafers, sushi and sangria available in the alcove to your left...

    [tried to comment yesterday... curses]

Awesome electronic exhibit you have put together, expertly curated IMO. Though I am annoyed tht most of the catered food had been scarfed up by the other guests. I had to make do with the crumbled remains of vanilla wafers ;).

Something about that Michigan lighthouse is really resonating with me - I like like like it. Excellent work man! I will check the songs out tonight as I am viewing from my phone right now...

well Doc, I'm not the biggest sushi fan, sorry if'n I blew the combo!

Rob, I'll have to send you a pre-alert next time round! Thanks on the lighthouse...I always felt that I hit a brush peak with that one....had lotsa time back then to concentrate!!
