I bet you (yes, YOU) look good on the dance floor...

Out there, somewhere, is a bizzare alternate reality where feudal law still governs society. a realm populated by serfs and lords, knights and scoundrels, and - of course - jesters like me and mintsrels galore. In this case, the cross-vortex famed Arctic Monkeys are the official house band for Castro's Cuba, and they play nightly at the dreamer's ball.

to enhance the comparator experience in each of you, here is the track as it exists in our reality:

Arctic Monkeys - Dancing Shoes

Pretty subtle little mash, nice hint of cilantro w/the meat and taters.

Well, this is fun, Scott. The ladies round my way would love that song. I had to go check if that was a genuine album -- and it is. They also have Modern Way! Great find!

I've posted about this, too, good man, Scot! Excellent taste ;)

I am a bit ashamed about this, but I also enjoy Coldplay's song from the album.......

that's fine inrum, just don't poke us with those eyebrows!

ROTFLMAO *could* be considered a dance all its own Aiea!

Fun it is Colin! guess it's time to step out of the fiction and mention Artist Project Earth has a ton of stuff going on to bring us "A Better World Through Music and the Arts". From the fight against climate change through relief from natural disasters, there's a lot to do-see-and get involved with over at(maybe even a post all its own?):

they also have a newer rendition of Cubano-ed selections at(you can hear samples of all the tracks):

Anna, does not surprise me that you are on this...funny thing about "Clocks", I have a friend of Cuban heritage who plays keys and we were planning to play another friends wedding reception...well, the show never came off, but the version of Clocks I was working up was spookily similar to this...I really cracked up first time I heard it! cheers!!

The original vid clip is used extensively sans TAM, in the highly recommended film 'Ghost World'.

Love Buena Vista SC. That's a great mash you posted Anna.
