After a relatively calm and contemplative 16 bar piano intro, Mott's last of their 4 pre-glam albums kicks off with"Thunderbuck Ram" shift into high gear as Mick Ralphs guitar and vocal work strain to envision the future Bad Company. Come back and hear this track when MOG gets the mp3 functionality sobbered up.
In the meantime, here's some great sounds from the early 70's, and a nice little film shot narrated by Morgan Fischer, keyboardist for Mott's last tour across America in '74.

...thanks Scotty. Roll Away The Stone!! oh hell yeah!
I love coming back home to these tunes. There is a depth here that I don't find often. Maybe this is where soul got overshadowed by potential fans in them early 70's C??
Rolling over to that Christian dogma DMDM? That was a pretty brave analogy that got not a bat of the eye from where I sat.
i don't understand. is there reproach in your remark? The air here is somewhat cloudy as it wafts into & thru my headbone
