Strange Sunday (under covers)

Posted almost 3 years ago

As an appetizer to Johnny Hollow's electro-goth world of spooky charms, taste this cover of The Doors classic and let vocalist Janine White explain whilst Kitty Thompson's dramatic cello work creates an air of mystery fitting the subject. Visit their Myst-ish website, expertly crafted by band member and illustrator Vincent Marcone.

Great cover, ups the ante of the original & adds something new to it. I liked Echo & The Bunnymen's cover of this but I think this ups the ante on that one as well. Not heard of this group. Not wild about the other vid song but do love that Teddy Bear in it. I now want one of those. Thx Scot!

Naomi, I'm not the biggest Doors fan, so it's real easy to agree with that argument!

How 'bout that cello Augusts? Certainly does "up the ante" all around. The rest of the dark pop stylings on this disc are very tasty - the teddy bear trailer just sets the tone...

the offspring of your echo source, then, would be commentator tots, would they not inrum?? whats for lunch buddy??

I believe your space helmet is screwed on just a little too tightly. :-)
