I am changing the subjuect of your discussion completely (I think I am, anyway).......there is a completely different song with the same name that came out in 1979 by the band The Headboys, who were from Scotland. I loved that song so so much that my oldest bro got the album for me for my birthday in 5th grade....
I must try to find it now......in the meantime, I enjoyed that song for the most part (Slade)

As you can tell, i do not dislike Slade but I have a lot to hear to say I am very familiar with them
