Sunday on Tuesday: A DeadmanDeadman Honorarium4

Posted over 2 years ago
Let's celebrate DMDM's hapazard presentation style with a Tuesday edition of Sunday Covers. Yeah, but is it for last Sunday when mog was down, or a primer for next Sunday? Or, that Sunday in June when it rained all day - or last Easter spent with - you figure it out.Short lived hit machine The La's did a great job with Jumpin' Jack Flash, eh?

  1. dermahrk says Is this from the La's on the BBC CD? At least I think that's the La's CD that came out within the last year or two. Yup, sounds great. I just noticed that you have Jules Shear in your Artists to check out section. You will not find a bigger Shear fan than me. I've seen him live several times, and followed his career from the Funky Kings & Polar Bears through Reckless Sleepers, Raisins In The Sun and all of his solo material. Collected all the cover versions of his songs, bootlegs, and songs written or co-written by him but only recorded by others. Been thinking of starting a "Jules Shear 101" series of posts. Maybe you'll beat me to it!
