   fistula spume says Yeah they all came out around '93 or '95? All the proceeds went to AIDS research. I had a two record set of Red Hot and Bothered that came with an awesome zine with each record. Someone stole those from me but I have the ok cd that was made for it. There's quite a few of these comps and they're all good. The Red Hot & Rhapsody was really cool people covering Gershwin songs.

   ZeppoNoir says I think it was even earlier than 93 actually. MasonJar would remember I bet. I think 1990. Outside of a few specific tracks like the Byrne and Waits tracks I never quite got into it. I Would like to hear it again, as I think I'd appreciate it more now than then. Okay scot, you got me ready to counter ya on this post with a Byrne post of my own!

   fistula spume says Oh hey you're right. Their "website":http://www.redhot.com/ says they started in 1989. Didn't know they put out the _No Alternative_ compilation. There are some other good ones on there as well. You can get some of these dirt cheap used on Amazon.
