I've given this a spin or two, and this is the only song that I will skip upon next spin. There were a couple other that had me "highly suspicious" of whether or not this was the My Morning Jacket that I've grown to love over the last 6 years. Loved the last album and everything they've put out before it, but this song just ain't right for them, and if that's what they're growing toward, then I'm headed the other way.

That's quite possible. Sometimes a band can take a song I detest and rock my face completely off my head. I'd love to see them live. Send 'em on down to Arkansas, and we'll see...

If they've ever been to Arkansas, it was before I was a fan, so it's been a while. We have one of the worst concert markets known to man. I'm working to resolve that. However, I am going to see Josh Ritter this Friday night, and am still in shock that he's coming this way. Maybe things are on an upturn!
