That climatic scene in 'Bottle Rocket'...when Dignan is making his ill fated getaway. The Stones '2000 Man' comes blaring at ya,...and it is just perfect.
This was THE scene that made me a Wes Anderson fan.

Weirdest drum beat of all time. :)
and the stones got such heat for this album - me, i liked it better than Sgt. Pepper, then and now....
How can you NOT love a Stones album with Satan in the title???? SO PERFECT???
such a great film all around
'On the run from Johnny Law...ain't no trip to Cleveland'
Anthony: Which part of Mexico are you from?
Inez: Paraguay.
My favorite, absolute FAVORITE part of that movie is the 'call' they give when there is trouble...'ca caw'....that sscene where dignan is getting beat down and yelling 'ca caw' makes me laugh no matter HOW many times Ive seen it!
"In Another Land'' ..."Citadel'' - tres trippy, but still sounded like Mick and the boys -
just got back from watching Freaks and Geeks, and I could not agree with you more........by the way if you have not seen the series you should check it out Blair
How about robbing the bookstore and having to take the money out in the tiny little paper back plastic bags? Classic.
Impressive debut for the Bros. Wilson - and I, too, have a great deal of affection for Their Satanic Majesties Request, especially "Citadel" and "On With the Show" and extra especially "2000 Light Years Form Home." Wayyyyyy trippy...
darn. you just gave me two things to mull over: the scene that made me a Wes Anderson fan, and underrated uses of music in film (the sort of stuff my brain absorbs, but i'm drawing a blank now). great choice, and great subject. (:
The right song can totally MAKE a scene, am I right?? Once the answers find you...post away! Can't wait to see the results
