   jameson says I like the album. I'm still a *new* old 97's fan, so I really can't compare this album to many of their earlier ones ('cept "satellite rides") but what Lizzie was talking about was that i was commenting on the production. I think that there is a masterpiece here, great songs, great alt-country hooks, but I find that the producing coulda been done JUUUUUST a little better. I told blair the other day that I would give this about 115 more listens and then give the album my final judgment. Well, I'm 2 listens thru and my tune is slowly changing. This album will be on rotation for a while longer. I'm enjoying this!

   Lizziegreeneyes says I am leaning toward over-production... but it's only a first listen impression. I agree there is a total masterpiece in the songs themselves - but the production was a little to heavy-handed for my tastes when it comes to Old 97's... Tonight I am gonna put up the Rhett Miller show that has one of the earlier performances of She Loves the Sunsets... (jameson doll... you know I wasn't calling you out er anything... just was honestly looking forward to hearing what you were on about & now I have)...
