Silversun Pickups' sophomore release, Swoon (Dangerbird Records), catapulted onto Billboard's charts immediately upon release, landing at #1 on the Top Independent Albums chart and #2 on the Top Rock Albums chart. The quartet earned the honors of being the first independent act in 11 years to hit #1 on Billboard's Hot Modern Rock Songs chart with lead single, "Panic Switch," which has spent 13 weeks at either #1 or #2 since. Swoon boldly conveys the band's dichotomous relationship with sound, comfortably weaving from beauty into aggression, parading a tapestry of romanticism and frenzy.

Recently added onto the bill are The Dandy Warhols. Often comapared to the psychedelic pop of the Velvet Underground, The Dandy Warhols released their sixth album in 2008 titled ...Earth to The Dandy Warhols... on their own Beat the World Label. The album features collaborations with Mark Knopfler and the Heartbreakers' Mike Campbell. All Music Guide says their Latest, "rivals the Dandys' finest work." Also joining the bill are the MTV "Best Breakthrough Video Award" winners Matt and Kim whose debut album Grand hit Top 50 on the Top Indepependent Albums chart.
