So I've been listening to the new Shadows Fall record, _Threads of Life_ in my car. I like it a lot better than when I first listened and thought it was okay. Now it's keeping me asskicking company during my lonely drives.
There's this ballad on it called "Another Hero Lost." It's an all clean-vocal track written about lead singer Brian Fair's cousin who died in the war.
So I'd listened to the CD a bunch of times, then a few days ago it came to track 6, "Another Hero Lost," and I must have just been in the right kind of mood, but I really payed attention to the lyrics and thought about it's meaning. It really got to me. I got a ball in my throat a couple of times because of the emotion.
