I realized this today.If I had to choose *one* album to call my favorite. Just one... Then it would have to be_Diary of a Madman_ - Ozzy.And I have a the hardest time picking favorite *anything*. I'm very indecisive, but this is just it for me.I would say that this is the first album that really got me into rock'n'roll.I was going through some of my mom's CD's a few years back, and I just couldn't let go of this one. This is my gateway album (into hard rock/metal).And thus also started my love for Ozzy, as well.

wgraham76 says I think if I had to pick a single album....man, so hard to say. but "London Calling" by the Clash is pretty close to the top. It covers so much ground, and nails every bit of it. So many bands have tried the double album thing, but how many have nailed it? (hell, even The White Album is flawed. Yeah, i know, flame away) But "London Calling" is literally perfect. It rocks, but it also shuffles, glides, grooves. The only band that matters, indeed. A stunning achievment. I fucking miss Joe Strummer.
