thanks sageturk. my ipod died on my commute to work today. in the past few weeks this album is what i've been playing to get me rarin' to go in the morning. works like a charm! (when ipod is not dead).

same here...i keep forgetting how much I like MGMT, always accidentally dumping them into the generic category of "dance music", even if they don't deserve such a generic simplification...but there's really no one better if you need something to get the juices flowing without overdosing on bombast.

yeah the term "dance music" always turns me off. in fact, i've had to push it out of my mind to realize the talents of a few of those bands. MGMT are certainly just as you've decribed, no overdosing.
