WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Monday's Cover - - Faye Wong vs. Dolores O'Riordan

Posted over 2 years ago
Continuing the story of my favorite songs from my favorite movie, this cover of The Cranberries' "Dreams" is a total favorite of mine, though it's a disservice to listen to this song via tiny computer speakers. This is an epic arrangement that needs a proper stereo or good headphones to properly appreciate it. Cutest home invader EVER.

  1. dj ivi says it's a disservice to listen to any music on computer speakers! even top of the line computer speakers are no good for music. (i'm speaker of traditional computer speakers. nowadays they make great speakers for listening to music on the computer.) regular home stereo speakers are often superior to anything else, even old hifi speakers from the 70's still sound incredible if they were taken care of.

  2. ryun says Since I grew up in an audiophile family, I have to send all of my tunes through a decent set of speakers, but it seems that in the last decade, the amount of music lovers has greatly increased, while the fidelity of their listening experience has taken a big step down. Are we missing out on music's subtle touches nowadays? I think most people are.

  3. dj ivi says i agree! i've noticed that just a $20 pair of speakers from goodwill (regular home stereo speakers) sound better than $200 ipod speakers or whatever... the fidelity of the music listening experience is definitely degrading. i hope to turn the next generation of music lovers onto good sound.
