Ryan Adams and Bones.

I love the music they've been using on Bones all through this season.Yes, you guessed it, another Bones post (I warned you all - Bones is my favourite tv show and I'm constantly watching and rewatching episodes, reading fanfic, looking at pictures of the cast [this is where I make grabby hands at TJ Thyne's abs and David Boreanaz's... oh, everything!], and looking at the ratings for episodes, just to make sure that the show is still considered a "hit" - and just so you know, yes, it still is considered to be a "hit").Anyway. So, this season has been really good. I mean they used Placebo's "Running Up That Hill" (I know, it's a Kate Bush cover, but I love the Placebo version, so deal).But the real thing that I loved was watching an episode a couple of weeks ago ("The Headless Witch in the Woods") and sighing hopelessly after watching yet another Booth/Brennan moment, where he (Booth - David Boreanaz) envelopes her (Brennan - Emily Deschanel) in his dreamy FB-Eye Candy arms and holds her because she says that she likes being alone, after confessing that she can't "read people" like she can "read bones." Of course, Booth says that it's a "guy hug," because they're "just friends" but really, what kind of "guy hug" have you been involved in that had Ryan Adams crooning "Nightbirds" in the background?That's right. In a lovely hugging scene (where it's totally obvious that Booth is beginning to realize his more-than-friends thoughts on Brennan - but that's a whollllle different entry for another day), as Booth is holding Brennan close, and she's letting him, Ryan Adams begins to play in the background. And my heart just... swooned. Because really, what normal person doesn't swoon at the thought of Ryan Adams (I know there's at least one person who I should just dedicate this entry to who swoons at the mere mention of his name - and I love her for it!)?And "Nightbirds," the song they used during this particular scene, may just be one of my favourite Ryan Adams songs (although "Burning Photographs" and "Gonna Make You Love Me" are by far up there farther, but "Come Pick Me Up" surpasses them all).and nightbirds sing youan empty tunein an empty housein an empty roomin an empty momentall the nightbirds singwe were supposed to rise abovebut we sink
