Another Joker in the White House, said a change was comin' round But I'm still workin' at The Wal Mart and Mary Alice, in the ground And all them politicians, they all lyin' sacks of shit They say better days upon us but I'm sucking left hind tit And the preacher on the TV says it ain't too late for me But I bet he drives a Cadillac and I'm broke with some hungry mouths to feed
I wish I'z still an outlaw, was a better way of life I could clothe and feed my family still have time to love my pretty wife And if you say I'm being punished. Ain't he got better things to do? Turnin' mountains into oceans Puttin' people on the moon

My Trusted MOGs
Nice one!..►Here's some more grousing about interplanetary travel ◄
My Trusted MOGs
Great post. Thanks for the link. You know who is into interplanetary travel? My girl, Nikki Giovanni; heard her holding forth on the radio a year or so ago about manned missions to Mars; she was real excited. At which point, I decided she was crazy or maybe just ego-tripping seriously.
My Trusted MOGs
I need to read/hear more from Ms. Giovanni..I've heard the name and seen a few records, but don't really know what she's all about. I always think of her as Gil Scott-Heron-esque..
My Trusted MOGs
I saw her reading her poems when I was an undergrad years ago in Utah, but over the years I've kind of lost track of her. But she teaches at Virginia Tech so gets the odd interview on public radio. She was also the creative writing teacher that booted Cho, the VA tech gunman, out of her creative writing class. I bet she does have a record or two though. I like the Israeli funk group The Apples. You've got a great page. Also like your stewardship of the continuity of the MOGs, beyond the last 24 hours.
My Trusted MOGs
Thanks for saying so..As much as I complain, I really do love my MOG..part of that is all the good folks like yourself comin' on board. It has been quite the experience for a first time try at the online community thing.
On another note-I just finished watching the 2 nights of Frontline on the war in Iraq. That was time well spent, but sad as hell.
Peace
