So. My name is Marilyn, this (i believe) is my first post on Mog. tho i've been suscribed for a year. so, hello =P
aggh. i have this thing with bands. either their stuff was better at the beginning, or maybe when they matured a bit. the second album, or third..
but once they are coagulated as a BAND, i'm gone.
was talking to the bf about the yyy's last ep, Isis. which had some good points, i'll admit. He's all excited cause the yyy's have developed a concrete SOUND now, which i agree to.. but listening to it?
none of it had the energy, the raw power of, say, date with the night or cold light. from fever to tell. none of what originally bonded me to their songs.
i'm just crossin my fingers for their next effort.
anybody on mog have the same problem with fav bands?

i LOVE the YYYs! and, i seem to remember something about the ISIS EP not being new material. Like those songs are actually from pre-Fever or something like that. The new album is probably going to be their best yet. We'll see!
