Helen Reddy was always an underrated artist   Her career took a very strange path.  For most of the seventies, she was a huge hitmaker and then all of a sudden, virtually disappeared from the music scene, never attempting a comeback.  It's a shame that by the end of the 70's, many artists such as John Denver, the Carpenters, Bread and others who dominated the music scene were completely pushed away by disco and new wave.  Many just remember her for 'I Am Woman', but she had so many other hits that were even better songs such as, 'You and Me Against the World', 'I Don't Know How To Love Him, 'Peaceful' and 'You're My World'.  At least now you can puchase most of her studio albums on CD.
