I'm listening, for the first time, to a band from the U.K. called The Feeling. It's catchy, but sorta cheese pop. With regard to influences, Dan says, "I'd like to be Karen Carpenter in Neil Young's body. With Freddie Mercury's trousers". 'Nuff said

Saw Lloyd Cole last Saturday, at the Great American Music Hall. One of those, "I've got an extra ticket" dealios. Really enjoyable show. I know nothing about him, but he's clearly been plying his trade for a long time. Just Lloyd and a steel string guitar. Poignant, yet unobtrusive, with smoky undertones. Any fans?
