My friend at LiveNation was able to get me tix to this at the last minute. I went last night with "snakama":http://mog.com/snakama. Overall, I enjoyed it. I just wish the sound was better on the heavy stuff. The softer tunes sounded great and I had goosebumps frequently. But the heavy tunes were way too loud, all drums, bass rumble and high end noise with no definition in the vocals, guitars or the bass. Also, the bass player spent most of the show looking fairly bored, which was a bit annoying. But towards the end she woke up and started really getting into it.The stage and lighting design were really cool. Here are some pics:The horizontal slats were used for both lighting effects and really cool projection effects.We concluded that they had their sound set up for a stadium show and they should have toned it down a bit for a club like the Fillmore. It was still a fun and satisfying show.
