When I first heard this album, it really blew my mind. The funny thing is that I actually bought it for my parents. I knew they liked "jazz" so I went to the store and found a couple of albums from the jazz section that had really cool-looking album covers.
Let's just say this album sat on the shelf for a few years at my house. I put it on one day and...wow! Chick Corea, Lenny White, Al Dimeola and Stanley Clark - what a line-up! The songs are so mystical and really well-composed, aside from the astonishing technical wizardry put forth from every member of the group. For me, jazz fusion didn't get any better.
