Every time Pig Destroyer has a new album, they dominate my mog/last.fm for weeks and months. That's partly becuase their songs are :48 long with 24 to an album, but of course it's mostly that they're the best grindcore band I know (and really all the grindcore I need in my life). Phantom Limb is the title track from their latest, and while this one is still no Prowler in the Yard, there's technical complexity a la Meshuggah up against straight ahead power and thrash that make this album a more diverse splattering of guts and evil
