no zune is a good zune

Posted over 5 years ago
this seems like a nice complement to that little flashing box in the corner of my MOG, that has had me wondering - what IS a zune?got this directly from wanbli's MOG : ""Read the full article by Andy Ihnatko in the Chicago Sun Times HereHe hits the nail SQUARE on the head in this. Some good quotes:“Yes, Microsoft’s new Zune digital music player is just plain dreadful.”””Avoid,” is my general message. The Zune is a square wheel, a product that’s so absurd and so obviously immune to success that it evokes something akin to a sense of pity.”“a kickback(to the music industry) on every player sold.”“Throw in the Zune’s tail-wagging relationship with music publishers, and it almost becomes important that you encourage people not to buy one.”“Result: The Zune will be dead and gone within six months. Good riddance.”"thanks to wanbli for compiling this excerpt from the article!i also like the part about how the zune cannot read podcasts, and is not compatible with the Windows Media Player.so what is the point then? a microsoft mp3 player that cannot work with microsoft's main music and video interface?why would anyone with a PC want a zune? why would anyone else? why is anybody marketing it? do they not see how incredibly useless that it is? just wondering. if anyone has a zune and wants to comment on how misled i am, feel free. i'm not fond of ipod either, don't own one. if i indulge in one of these little addixions, i'm going to hold out for the creative zen i guess. right now i really don't care to own one.
