I don't know who writes the bios on here but there is an error in this one. PURPLE HAZE is listed as Cam'ron's landmark album on Roc-A-Fella, when it's actually COME HOME WITH ME. This album included the hits "Hey Ma" and "Welcome to New York City" and is Cam'ron's only release to date that is certified as Platinum by RIAA. PURPLE HAZE was it's follow up that had one single featuring Kanye West that did okay, but the album only went gold. This album was also delayed a couple years, and in Cam's eyes, not properly promoted by the record label, which also contributed to the growing tension between him and Jay-Z which boiled over recently.
This is my second Cam'ron post of the week, and I don't even like him that much, I'm turning into a MOGaholic.

This is the kind of shit that makes people say hip hop is dead. But fuck that, it's alive and well. Hip hop was originally envisioned by people like Kool Herc and Afrika Bambaataa as music for people to release tenison to. The idea was for people to get down on the dance floor instead of brawling. And with that in mind, how is this not 'real' hip hop? The video is great too. I never seen it until they were playing it at the bar I was at a couple hours ago. "You can do it all by yourself.."
A guest verse by E40 doesn't hurt either, I know you Bay Area heads are feeling me.

she's Carah Faye, lead singer of Shiny Toy Guns, an electronic/rock band, they're from LA i think, even though they sound kind of european to me. They have an album coming out soon. According to wikipedia there are rumors that she did the singing on the Paris Hilton album instead of Paris, but that's just some shit on wikipedia, i could go there right now and add that I'm her boyrfriend, wouldn't make it true.
