These glorious 4 minutes, 53 seconds of Alice Glass muttering nonsensical vocodered lyrics are brought to you by the BBC and the lovely person who decided to rip the vid and stick it up on Youtube. I like this version of Crimewave better than the album mix. It's got real soul, especially with the added "choruses" and the addition of the live drummer.

August: the album version's good, too. I've got a thing for electronic bands who choose to use live drums for their live shows. They seem more like an "actual" band instead of just a processed band in a box.
Anna: big-time, but it'll pass *sigh* :) I found out that wombat's actually defend themselves with their butts...kinda [thanks to Wikipedia]:
The wombat's primary defence is its toughened rear hide with most of the posterior made of cartilage. This, combined with its lack of a meaningful tail, makes it difficult for any predator that follows the wombat into its tunnel to bite and injure its target. When attacked, wombats dive into a nearby tunnel, using their rump to block a perusing attacker. They can even crush a predator against the roof of the tunnel.
After reading that, I have decided that someone should make a wombat horror movie. Monster Wombat Strikes Butt or something in that area. It will be glorious.
