It seems that Billy Idol's releasing a disk of Christmas tune covers on November 17th. Now you can enjoy Billy's versions of classic Xmas hits such as ??Frosty The Snowman?? and ??Silent Night??. Nothing says "Christmas Joy!" like Billy Idol's sneering, contorted facial expressions. You won't be enjoying Billy's reworked phrase "It's a nice day for a ??White Christmas??, it's a nice day to staaaaart agaaaayaaaayyan!" but you will get the more subdued version of Billy Drug-Free The Family Man. Terry Staunton says This is too scary for words. Watching the clip, I looked around my desk for something heavy to throw at my laptop, anything to bring this terror to an abrupt end. Okay, so I might break the screen, but at least it'll reduce the very frightening possiblity that Billy might, in his own bygone words, "START AGAIN!" Is that a knowing sneer on the word "white"? I bet he also snickers to himself during Frosty The "Snow" Man. Hey, Bill, it's a thin line (ha! line!) between irony and stupidity.

atman says proving yet again what a freak that guy is. I don't know if I buy that whole crooner vibe he's trying to give out. I dunno. He _is_ a good singer. I'm a big fan of christmas music. I might have to give this a listen.

kat3260 says i have watched this again...still funny to me. seems like an SNL skit or something, it's so staged and corny. especially the part where he sings "with every Christmas card I write" and does the coordinating hand gesture.
