Heard about Phonograph from a Grace Potter and the Nocturnals blog.

Headed over to iLike to check them out. And found the song "Normal Illinois".

Since I used to live in Normal, I gave the track a listen. I liked it so much I headed over to iTunes to pick up a copy. Sounds very much like a Petty, Neil Young, Drive By Truckers kind of vibe. I've listened to the track a few times now, and other than the vibe, I'm not sure why they named the track Normal Illinois, but, as a former resident, I say the title is fitting.
